Coach Barry Wilson enters his second year as Head Softball Coach at Klein Oak, his 3rd year with the program. This is his 25th year in education. In his first year as head coach, Coach Wilson lead the Panthers to a 21-17 record and a 2nd place finish in a tough 15-6A. The Panthers had their deepest playoff run in 10 years as Reginal Quarter Finalists. Prior to coming to Klein Oak, Coach Wilson served as a Varsity Assistant Baseball Coach for 13 years at The Woodlands HS. During his time at TWHS, the baseball program 2 of their 3 5A State Championships in 2006 and 2013 and a National Championship in 2006. He also served on the football staff that guided the 2003 team to the 5A State Championship game. His other stints included Montgomery HS, where he was the softball asst, Conroe HS and Dickinson JHS. Coach Wilson teaches World History.
Coach Wilson earned his Bachelor of Arts in English from Texas A&M (Whoop) in 1986 and a Master of Education in Administration from Sam Houston State in 2008. He grew up in Cypress, TX and is a 1981 graduate of Cy-Fair HS.
Coach Wilson's greatest support comes from his wife of 3 years Jacquetta, who teaches Chemistry at The Woodlands College Park HS. He has 2 children, so Braxton (29) and a daughter Ragan (21), who is a junior at Texas State University. In his spare time, Coach Wilson enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf, traveling and watching college sports.
Coach Westmorelandhas a Bachelor od Science degree from Sam Houston State University. This will be Coach Westmoreland's 2nd year at Klein Oak, and his first year coaching softball. He also coaches football for the Panthers. Casey has been married to his wife Kara for 12 years and they have a 12 year old son named Max. Coach Westmoreland is entering his 18th year of coaching with stops in North Zulch and Magnolia ISD. He is a graduate of Klein Oak, class of '95. His brother Layne is the Panthers D-line coach.
